About the Author
Wade Krawczyk has been a military collector since the 1970s and has specialized in German Army Uniforms. In pursuit of research he has traveled widely in Europe and Russia. For many years he was a TV news cameraman and military correspondent on assignments around the globe. Since 1993 he has worked as a film and TV costumier, armored and technical adviser mainly from the Warner Bros Studios on the Gold Coast. This is his fifth publication on German uniforms for Crowood. He lives in Australia.

Good reference book.

Very nice pictures of a wide variety of uniforms and gear. A little heavy on the officers uniforms in my opinion but still a nice book.

Buy it, overall it's an excellent resource...

There are bigger and better books on the study of German uniforms, but not in this price range. I only gave this one four stars because it's a bit thin on pages for all the ground it attempts to cover, but the photos are great, the details are top-notch, and this is an invaluable resource book showing original uniforms and equipment. If it had 250 pages, it would've been just about perfect. Still, I highly recommend this one and all the books in this series.
